Who wants bland, boring, dry baked white fish?? NO ONE!
Here is a quick and easy recipe that proves just how flavourful baked fish can be. It will elevate your fish dish and impress friends and family alike!
I use this spice mix on haddock, cod or sea bass!
Let's check it out!
2 pounds of white fish of your choice (I used sea bass here) 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes seas salt to taste 1 tablespoon butter, divided
* Place oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
* Arrange fish on the baking sheet. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, sprinkle over fish evenly. Dot the fish with pieces of butter.
* Cook for approximatrly 10 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish. Fish is done when flakes easily with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.
**If using a glass baking dish, I would recommend spraying lightly first.
